The construction of the highest Tower of the world has already begun. Yes, it is all about The Tower in Dubai, which is going to be the first highest tower after Burj Khalifa.

The most groundbreaking fact about this project is that, according to Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid al-Maktoum, its groundwork was constructed in huge patch of sand. The construction workers of The Tower at Dubai Creek Harbour has put a lot of effort in order Dubai to earn the title of the most high building in the world.

At the ceremony, which took place for the celebration of the innovative event, the Gulf emirate's ruler said that the skyscraper “will be the world's tallest tower when completed in 2020”.

Moreover, Emaar Properties –the real estate development company that has undertaken the project- announced that they are planning to build the viewing tower in April, which according to their sayings will be slightly higher than Burj Khalifa. Let us remind you that Burj Khalifa is 828 meters (2,700 feet) high!

Although, the real height of the superstructure is not yet announced.

It said in April that the structure will cost around $1 billion (900 million euros).

Its design belongs to Spanish-Swiss architect Santiago Calatrava Valls. The tower will consists of various observation decks which will provide 360-degree views of the coastal city.

According to Emaar Chairman Mohamed Alabbar, the structure will be ready before the Expo 2020 trade fair, where Dubai is going to be the host.

By April, the building will be subtle, it will be secured to the ground with all the necessary cables and it will distinguish as contemporary minaret.

Dubai is known for the construction of futuristic skyscrapers. All this amazing effort has made it a pioneer on this field.

Last but not least, it is important to mention the tower building in Jeddah by Saudi Arabia's Kingdom Holding, which is planned to be more than a kilometer taller from Burj Khalifa.
