Turkish NGO donated an x-ray machine to the dental faculty of Podgorica University. The machine will contribute to the health sector in Montenegro, improving the quality of the services provided to its citizens.
As part of its social contribution activities, the Turkish International Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA) donated an x-ray machine to the dental faculty of Podgorica University in the Montenegrin capital Podgorica, last Thursday.
As Mustafa Yazici, the agency’s local coordinator, stated, the machine will contribute to the country’s health sector improving the quality of health care and services provided to its citizens.
Serhat Galip, the ambassador of Republic of Turkey in Montenegro also attended the donation ceremony. Dentistry Department Dean Goran Nikolic expressed his gratitude for the donated equipment and his intense desire to strenghten cooperation between the two organisations in the future.
Established in 1992, Turkey's government-run TİKA aid agency is mandated with implementing Turkey's developmental cooperation policies overseas. So far, the agency has provided aid to more than 40 countries around the world.
