The UAE vice-president and ruler of Dubai, his highness Sheikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum recently welcomed the President of Montenegro – Filip Vujanovic at his palace in Zabeel.
During the visit, they have discussed the development of bilateral relations between the UAE and Montenegro, including the creation of investment partnerships between the two countries, particularly in the private sector. His highness Sheikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum also welcomed Horacio Cartes, President of Paraguay and Luis Guillermo Solis, President of Costa Rica. Amongst the countries’ representatives, it was tackled how crucial is the establishment of a balanced ties with the three countries while promoting communication and strengthening cooperation in the fields of tourism, energy, real estate, and transport. Praises for the UAE’s leading position in vital sectors like tourism, urban development, clean energy and infrastructure were given by the 3 presidents. Besides UAE’s senior officials, the meetings were also attended by Shaikh Ahmad Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, president of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and chairman and chief executive of Emirates airline and Group; Sultan Bin Saeed Al Mansouri, Minister of Economy; Dr Anwar Mohammad Gargash, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs; Reem Ebrahim Al Hashemi, Minister of State for International Cooperation.
