The Dubai Food Festival will be a promotion of diversity, creativity and multicultural nature of food offering in Dubai. When it returns on 25th February and hosted under “A Taste Celebration” theme, there will be a presentation of a variety of emirate's gastronomic offering to a huge number of gastronomes from all over the region including guests from India.
"The Dubai Food Festival is a one of a kind festival, where the food by itself can bring together people from different regions, families, friends or even communities", states Laila Mohammed Suhail, CEO of Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), an office of the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) that arranges the occasion.
- Dubai Restaurant Week In the first ever Dubai Restaurant Week there will be 30 of the city’s generally desired restaurants serve a three-course set menus for only AED 189. According to some estimations, it is expected to be a sold-out occasion and everybody will have a change to taste a sample of the top restaurants on their must-visit list.
- The Festival center The Beach Canteen, after its renovation, will be the Festival's attend for free, go-to hub destination, where it will be included 15 divine native restaurant concepts with some known worldwide chefs, remarkable beach dining participation. Moreover, there will be bands from the region, DJs, beach sports, experiences for kids and of course an official Festival information kiosk.
- And it does not stop there... Various highlights of the 2016 Dubai Food Festival will include: the Arabic most loved Fatafeat Kitchen including presentations from well-known gourmet experts in Galleries Lafayette, The Dubai Mall Street Nights; the elegant Taste of Dubai; the family-most loved Kids Dine For Free promo; and many more restaurant-related events.
