Five years ago, Media Nea established and launched publishing of the newspaper “Dnevne novine”, a newspaper of a modern and attractive design and with an independent editorial policy that promotes the ideas of European integration of Montenegro and the rule of law.

Petros Stathis established Dnevne Novine, a new daily newspaper which made an immediate impact with its freshness and its ethics in the country. From its first day, the newspaper presented itself as a newspaper which promotes social justice, tolerance and diversity and fights against corruption.
The paper was started on October 10, 2011, as the fourth Montenegrin daily newspaper (besides Pobjeda, Vijesti and Dan). On May 7, 2012, Dnevne Novine became the first and, as of October 2012, the only free newspaper in Montenegro. Since June 2012, the paper is available online at dnevne.me
According to Bundestag, Dnevne Novine is the only objective daily newspaper in Montenegro in contrast to the rest of newspapers that are mainly controlled by the government. The German Government noticed the newspaper for its impartial reporting, and the fact that it’s not assigned to either side.
